Lenovo ThinkPad L14 - i7 10th Gen, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

A 10th generation Core i7 with sixteen gigabytes and a 512GB NVMe drive is a lot of machine, and in an L14 chassis it is a lot of machine that will keep going. Four cores and eight threads handle the things that make cheaper laptops struggle: large spreadsheets with live formulas, a virtual machine, exports running in the background while you carry on working, several dozen browser tabs. Condition is excellent. No defects were found on the panel, the backlight is even, the backlit keyboard is unworn, the TrackPoint works and the chassis is in excellent order. Cycle count is low with battery health to match. We tested every port including ethernet and the dock connector. There is room for more memory and a second drive if the work ever demands it. If you are choosing between this and the T14 nearby, the T14 is lighter with better graphics, this one has more processor. Both are tested, both are honest, and the right answer depends entirely on what you do all day. Weight is the fair criticism. An L14 is not light, and it was never meant to be. Judge it as a desk machine that travels occasionally rather than the other way round.
