Sell Your Old Laptop in Udaipur

We buy used laptops — working or not. Send photos on WhatsApp, get an offer, bring it to the shop and get paid.

Send the details

The model, roughly how old it is, whether it switches on, and four or five photos. That is usually enough for an offer.

If you have a laptop you no longer use, it is worth something to somebody. The awkward part is finding out how much without listing it publicly, fielding twenty messages, and meeting a stranger who then wants to renegotiate at the door.

We buy laptops directly. Here is exactly how it works.

Three steps

  1. Send photos and details on WhatsApp. The model, the age if you know it, what it does and does not do, and four or five photos — the outside, the screen switched on, the keyboard, and the sticker underneath if it still has one.
  2. We tell you what we can offer. Based on what you have sent. If we need to see the machine first before saying anything definite, we will say so rather than quote a number we might have to take back.
  3. Bring it in and get paid. Come to the shop in Udaipur with the laptop and its charger. It gets checked in front of you, and if the offer stands, you are paid there.

There is no obligation at any point. If the number does not suit you, take the laptop home.

What we buy

  • Laptops of every major brand, working or not
  • Machines with a broken screen, a failed keyboard, a dead battery or a bad hinge
  • Laptops that will not switch on at all
  • Old business laptops, including several at once when an office upgrades
  • Desktops and their parts

A laptop that does not switch on is still worth sending photos of. People throw these away, and they are often the ones with perfectly good parts inside.

What actually affects the price

Nobody can price a used laptop from its brand name alone. These are the things that genuinely move the number, roughly in order:

  • Age and generation. The single biggest factor. A processor two generations newer is worth substantially more than the same tier two generations older, and there is no way around that.
  • Whether it powers on. A machine that boots to a desktop can be tested in minutes. One that does not has to be diagnosed, and until it is, nobody knows whether it is a charging port or a motherboard.
  • The specification. RAM, storage size, and whether it has an SSD or a mechanical hard disk.
  • Screen condition. Cracks, dead pixels and patches. A screen is one of the more expensive parts to replace.
  • Battery condition. Read as health, not as the percentage on the screen — see what battery health and cycle count actually mean.
  • Body condition. Dents and scratches matter less than most people expect. A cracked hinge matters more, because it gets worse.
  • Liquid damage. This one is hard to price without opening the machine, because the effects appear over months.
  • What comes with it. The original charger is worth having. So is the box, if you still have it.

We would rather explain why a number is what it is than quote a figure and leave you wondering.

Before you hand it over

Take your data off it, and sign out. Copy anything you want to keep, sign out of your accounts, and reset the machine if you know how. If you do not know how, say so — it is better asked than skipped.

If the laptop will not switch on and you need the files off the drive, that is a separate job before any sale: see data recovery.

Bring some form of ID with you. Buying second-hand equipment properly means recording who it came from.

Selling several at once

Offices replacing a batch of machines, and businesses closing or downsizing, are a normal part of this. Send a list — models and rough condition — rather than photographing each one. For a large enough batch it is usually easier for us to come and look.

Ready when you are

No obligation. If the offer does not suit you, take the laptop home.

Replacing it rather than just selling it? The laptops in stock are on the same site, and it is worth mentioning in the message — it is one conversation rather than two.
