HP EliteBook 840 G6 - i5 8th Gen, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

Between the two cleaner 840s above and this one, the parts that decide how fast the machine feels are identical or better: same 8th generation Core i5 as the first, but with sixteen gigabytes instead of eight and a 512GB drive instead of 256GB. What you are trading is appearance. There is a faint scratch low on the left of the panel, mild shine on the letter keys, scuffing along the lid edge and a small dent on the rear corner. Nothing is loose, nothing rattles, and the hinges hold the screen where you put it. Battery health sits in the middle of its life, so expect roughly half a working day away from power rather than a full one. We confirmed USB-C charging as well as the standard ports. Buyers who care most about specification per rupee usually end up on a machine exactly like this, and buyers who want it to look new go for the other two. Both are reasonable; they are just different priorities and the price reflects which one you have.
