HP EliteBook 830 G6 - i5 8th Gen, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD

Thirteen point three inches, and that is the entire reason to choose this over the 840 sitting next to it. The 830 G6 is the same machine shrunk: same aluminium construction, same keyboard quality, same 8th generation Core i5 with 8GB and a 256GB SSD, in a body small enough to open on a train tray table or a crowded desk. It weighs about one and a third kilograms. People who travel constantly, or who work from cafes and client offices rather than one fixed place, almost always prefer this size once they have tried it. The trade is screen area, and if you spend your day in wide spreadsheets you will notice. Condition is excellent. No dents anywhere on the body, no marks on the panel, an unworn backlit keyboard, and one of the lowest cycle counts on anything we have listed, with battery health to match. USB-C charging was confirmed along with every other port. Small, quick, tested, and genuinely pleasant to carry. The small size does mean a smaller battery than the 840, so the excellent health reading here is doing real work rather than padding the listing.
