Dell Latitude 5420 - i5 11th Gen, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD

Cosmetically this is the most used of the three 5420s on the shelf, and the price says so. It works exactly as well as the two above it and looks like it has been to an office and back. There are two faint marks on the left side of the panel that disappear the moment anything is displayed, some shine on the letter keys, and scuffing along the front lip where hands rest. None of that touches performance. The 11th generation Core i5 is the same chip, and here it comes with a 512GB drive, so there is room for a large photo folder or a couple of years of project files without external storage. The battery is the honest weak point. The cycle count is mid-range and the health reading reflects that, so it will run a meeting or a lecture but not a full day away from power. Every port was tested, the HDMI output against a real monitor. If cosmetic condition is not what you are paying for, this saves you a good amount over the cleaner units. One more thing worth saying plainly: marks on a lid are not damage. This is a working machine with a history, and the discount is for the history, not for anything it does.
