Asus VivoBook 15 - i3 11th Gen, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD

Half a terabyte of storage at twenty-four thousand is the reason to look at this one. Most machines at this price come with 256GB and a plan to buy an external drive later; this VivoBook 15 has a 512GB NVMe drive already fitted, alongside an 11th generation Core i3 and 8GB of memory. For a student keeping course material, downloads and photographs on one machine, that is the specification that actually removes daily friction. The 15.6-inch screen has a number pad and the keys all work with only light shine on them. Cosmetically there are light scuffs on the lid and palm rest and a faint mark near the hinge. Battery backup is fair. The card reader was confirmed along with every other port. It is plastic and it flexes, and anyone who wants a machine that feels solid should look at the business units instead, but as a large, roomy, tested everyday laptop it is priced correctly. Worth adding that the drive is an M.2 module rather than a soldered chip, so it can be replaced or enlarged later without any of this becoming disposable.
