Acer Aspire 3 - i3 10th Gen, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD

Eight hundred rupees more than the other Aspire 3 nearby, and the difference is the drive. This one has a 256GB solid state drive instead of a mechanical disk, so it starts in seconds rather than minutes and feels far more responsive in ordinary use, even though it also has only four gigabytes of memory and an older 10th generation Core i3. If you are choosing between the two, choose this one unless you genuinely need a terabyte of space for films and photographs. Condition is rough and it looks it: two marks on the panel with one visible on light backgrounds, worn lettering on the vowel keys, a dent at the rear left corner and a heavily scuffed lid. The battery is poor and it should stay on charge. All ports work. As a first machine for a school student in Udaipur, or a spare that lives on a counter, it does the job for very little money and we are not going to describe it as anything more than that. If both Aspire 3 units are still here when you visit, open them side by side. The difference the drive makes is obvious within seconds and no specification sheet conveys it.
